Our Work

Community for Resilience, Support and Wellbeing (CRSW-Kenya) is a youth-led organization based in Kiambu county with the focus of providing social justice and dignity to young gay, bisexual, trans and those that are living with HIV and identify as sex workers through sexual reproductive health services, economic empowerment and advocating for an equal and just society within the rural areas of Central region Kenya. The group has been advocating for the resilience and wellbeing of its beneficiaries since its inception.

Our Story

CRSW was formed in 2018 and legally registered in 2019 as a youth group by the name Termite Empire youth group with the aim of Economic Empowerment. Table banking and saving were key activities that the members use to conduct to support each other with financial capacity. Later it widened its focus after identifying gaps in YGBMSM, YMSW & YPLHIVs programming especially within the Kiambu region. The group was legally registered as a Community Based Organization as Community for resilience support and well-being (CRSW-Kenya).
